July 9, 2018

This webinar provides a concise overview of CAMTech's operation, funding, intellectual property, project selection and management.  As a National Science Foundation and industry funded research center, CAMTech functions to bridge the gap between industry needs and federal and academic research for arthropod and nematode management. Operating through multiple university nodes located at Iowa State University, the University of Florida and the University of Kentucky and in its 6th year of operation, CAMTech currently partners with 11 companies to accomplish its mission.

Bryony Bonning, CAMTech Director, is a Professor and Eminent Scholar in the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida. Her research goal is to develop novel, environmentally benign alternatives to chemicial insecticides for insect pest management, with a particular emphasis on insect-pathogen interactions.

Subba Reddy Palli, CAMTech Site Director, is a Professor and Department Chair for the University of Kentucky Department of Entomology.
